As a teenager I had a few Balisong knives, now decades later I've discovered they've had a huge resurgence! I was able to grab an EPS Weehawk recently, and it's a piece of art. Beautiful craftsmanship, and very satisfying to flip.
My flipping journey started around 2016/17, in the days where squid was not around. I’ve had everything from fully custom BM 51 on bearings to JK design orcas.
I took probably a 4 year hiatus from interacting with the community as a whole, and decided to sell off my collection to fund my college tuition. Then a month or two ago I got an itch to see what’s on the market these days and I saw a lot of people recommend the eps to wraith. I then found out they are really hard to get, so I immediately made it my priority to get one.
That will to get one is exactly what I needed. This knife is easily one of my favorites (and I’ve flipped some really wild stuff, midtechs to custom grails). Holds momentum super well but doesn’t feel like a pig to flip. Not to mention pretty as can be.
The eps company is exactly what I want to support, as I was having friendly conversations over instagram well before they announced a drop. I have no doubt the team at eps put their best into everything they do and I would 100% support their company again.
Overall everything from hearing about the company fresh from a hiatus, company/ social media relations being excellent, limited numbers drawing me, the general community awe of these knives, and the fact it flips sooooo good makes me extremely happy with my purchase and I would recommend this knife and any other eps product!
Buttery smooth action and really nice acoustics. Only have had it for a week but can't put the dang thing down! Also, love the micromilling on the handles, makes it have a super comfortable handling experience.
The execution in the Ti Wraith is pretty much perfect. It performs every trick I can pull off so smoothly, especially my Z chokers. I couldn’t recommend this Bali enough! Amazing job Rick, I’ll be getting more of your products for sure.
This flips like a dream and has amazing build quality. I can't wait to try more from eps!
